I have a Sony DCRTVR19 digital camcorder, I have been looking at the different lens you can buy for it but wondered what difference does changing the lens make?
 
Changing the lens can accomplish a number of different things, such as being able to shoot ultra-wide-angles, get a larger zoom, etc. It's like filters for your camera.
 
Me and my friends are looking to make our own movie so I think it might be a good idea, whats the best lens to go for without spending loadsa money?
 
You'll probably rather need a wide angle lens if you're planning to do indoor filming. Wide angle lenses (with a zoom factor below 1, e.g. 0.5x or 0.7x), give a wider picture so you don't have to stand as far from the subject as you normally would.
