Hoping someone can help me here. Have created a sharepoint on a 10.4.2 server and have given "everyone" RW permissions.
I want users to be able to create directories on their own and give others RW permissions when they are created. However, whenever they create new directories, other users have read only permissions.
I remotely "administer" this network by VNC'ing into the server only so I have not seen the directories being created. However, when I view permissions on these directories, it looks like "everyone" is listed as having RW permissions (as seen in Workgroup Manager) on the new directories that are created.
I am wondering about using the propagate permissions button in the bottom right of WM but am thinking that it will alleviate the issues on current directories but that newly created directories after that will again have the same problem.
What am I missing?
