I have been trying to get a Mac running OSX panther to join our Windows 2003 Active Directory Domain.
and get an error message that says the user name and password combination is invalid.

I have read somewere that the AD expects the request in one lump and that OS X breaks the request up into chunks and that is rejected by AD.?

I'm having similar issues (same message, or a different one stating that the admin details I entered have insufficient priviledges - when I'm using the superuser details!)

Have tried deleting the DirectoryServices folder in the HD>Library>Preferences folder, still no joy.

It did work once, bound no problems at all and I could see it fine in the AD Admin screen on the PC. I realised that I'd given it a slightly wrong name, so I unbound it (again - no problems), but do you think i can get it to re-bind?

Not a chance. Still using all the same details, but it just won't have it. Any ideas?
