Disable Sent Mail Addresses in Address Book?

Is there a way to disable Mail.app from adding the e-mail addresses of people I send mail to in Address Book? I have my Address Book set up nice and neat and I don't want every person I send mail to in it. I've looked in Mail's prefs and can't seem to find anything, and Address Book has no preferences options.

Anybody figure this out?

... no idea how to actually prevent address book from picking up these addresses, but if you click on to 'show temporary' it lists added addresses only, not the ones you yourself saved ... so you can easily batch delete them like that ...
