My parents have a baffling Mail.app problem. They run with separate mail accounts, under the same Mac login. One of these works fine, the other used to, but suddenly started behaving strangely. You can see the account receiving mail (its counter increases), but when you click on it, no messages show up in the list. It also has the little grey triangle on the mailbox that indicates it has children, but when you expand the triangle, no children are shown.
I'm debugging this issue remotely, but clearly something is hosed with that particular mailbox. The typical fix would be to run "Mailbox -> Repair Mailbox" with it selected, but I can't do that because Repair Mailbox is disabled when that mailbox is selected. No idea why.
I've solved a lot of Mail problems, but have never seen anything like this. Anyone?
