Disappearing Fonts

Hey all ~~ Hopefully someone has run into this issue and knows a fix. I am running Jag 10.2.1 on a ibook 500 ~~ 40 gig drive and 640 ram ~~ When browsing the net I find that articles will disappear. But on mouse over they reappear... this happens in IE , Omniweb, and Word X with sp1. Other than that everything else is working great I just find it annoying, Any assistance would be appreciated!

I've had things dissappear in IE so i only use it if i have to. I think that's an IE bug.

I think i remember seeing somethng about this. It has to do with text smoothing in the browser or something alng those lines. You can turn it off (don't ask me where ) or use Chimera. Try to use the search function on this site to find it i know it's on here somewhere...
