disk image driver error

While trying to mount a dmg I got the following error:
Unable to load the disk image driver. error -536870208 (-536870208)
and then nothing

Does anyone have a solution?

What operating system are you using?

Try DropDMG;

I am using 10.28 with 512 MB RAM
I can't use dropDMG as it comes as a DMG, which I can't unload

Try trashing the plist file;

com.apple.DiskCopy.plist

user>library>preferences

What is the name of the dmg, and where can I get it? I'll try it.
