Disk Image

Just done a site search and it pulled up no results, so...

Anyone know how to create a disk image in OSX? There doesn't seem to be Disk Tools.

Cheers.

If you've got an older machine (like mine, for example) and hope to burn a disk image under OS X, you'll find disk copy will make you a .dmg file, but since the burner won't work under OS X, and OS 9.2 won't know what to make of a .dmg file, you'll still be SOL.

If youre' gonna burn a disk image under OS X, you'll have to have a machine and burner that are new enough to be recognized by OS X. I haven't been able to come up with a workaround on this one.

As for Hulk's workaround that he can't think of, boot into OS 9 and make a .img image file and burn that. Disc Copy should be in Applications (OS 9) > Utilities > Disc Copy unless you've moved stuff around. Disc Burner is here, as well.

How do i increase the size of a disc image? I know i did this before, can't figure it out on Panther though.
