ah, just one small question, How do u craete a .img file from a CD, that could be very usefull to me.......

Just use Disk Copy. It can create a disk image from any volume.

open disk copy from utilities folder in applications. Go to image in menu bar and select image from device. pretty intuitive after that. select read/write if you plan to altar the img's contents in any way.
