I'm trying to erase everything off my hard drives and am running into an issue.....here it is. I have two internal HD's ... a 20 gb maxtor and a 40 gb IBM-DTLA. When the maxtor is selected in the utility, i follow the steps to erase it and it pops up - Secure disk erase failed with an error..... could not unmout disk. And when i select the IBM HD, all my options are grayed out. I can't even start to format it. Obviosly i'm doing something wrong, but what?
