Disk Warrior Getting Stuck?

So I have a 12" Powerbook 867 MHz, and I have been running Disk Warrior on it for quite some time now. Today when I ran Disk Warrior it seems to get stuck on step 6: "Constructing optimized replacement directory..." Nothing freezes up (the progress bars are still moving), but it has been on step six for about 45 min. Any ideas?? Should I let it sit there for a day or what?? When I graphed my hard drive 13% of the files were out of place, this is higher then it ever has been before (I usually run disk warrior at 9%-10% of files out of place). Could this be contributing to it?
Thanks In advance to anyone who replies!!!
Merry Christmas!!

I've seen posts where it was left runing over 12 hours and finally completed.
Anytime you stop a utility in progress, you take a chance on damaging the drive beyond repair.

So I spent about 4 hours waiting for diskwarrior to finish, and right at the end it tells me that there was an error when repairing two overlapped files. It said I had to restart and try the whole thing again... I am not encouraged. Has any one else had this problem?

Anytime you get an error like this, look at the report and write down the info.

It went through fine the second time I ran it, and it did it in about 1/8th of the time. Thanks for all the help though!!
