Is it better to launch DW off the CD than off the machine itself? Is it necessary to boot the machine off the DW CD? I am not talking about when trouble happens, I am just talking about normal maintenance.

You need to boot off the CD, or a different drive than the one you want to use DW on.

So how do you boot off the DW disk, just put it in and start the machine with the C key pressed?
