I'm not sure if any of you are familar with Disktracker, but basically it is a program that indexes cd's so you can search them and find files on your CD's. Anyone, I have some disk tracker archives saved on a PC and I access them over the network. Anyway, that is neither here nor there. I have one computer that is 10.2 and it can open these archives fine. But on 10.3 it see's the files as 'Unix Exectuables', and want allow me to open them in Disktracker. Does anyone know how come panther is seeing these files as Unix Exe files and how I can make them open. I've tried doing the open with..., and just draggin to DiskTracker, but stil no luck. It seems like the resource fork's got messed up, then I didn't think OSX used them? Anyone have any thoughts?

Sounds like DiskTracker hasn't been patched to run on 10.3 yet. Have you checked the DiskTracker site to see if there is any mention of 10.3 support?
