Diskutility Won't Create Image From Cd

I recently upgraded to Tiger and now cannot use Disk Utility to create a disk image from a CD. The available options under "New" include "Blank Disk Image" and "Disk Image From Folder...". However the option "Disk Image from (Select a Device) is greyed out when I select either the CD or the drive. And yes, there is a disk in there :) Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm using a PB 12" (1.25Mhz) with CDRW.

Yes. Ignore it, and use the "Disk Image From Folder..." feature. When prompted, simply click the icon of the CD once, then click the "Image" button.
