Display Font problem in Tiger

Hi all,

I need your help with a strange thing that happened when I installed Tiger on my G5.

All the display fonts (folder names, list names, file names, input fields texts, etc) looks like if they have a "redish ghost"

See the vertical strokes of the fonts.

I've never seen this in Panther. This started after the Tiger install.

Anyone experienced the same problem?
any idea to solve this problem?

What kind of monitor do you have? It looked fine here but what I think you might be seeing is subpixel anti-aliasong that is set for the wrong kind of display. Try changing the anti-aliasing settings under the system prefs to better match your monitor.
 
where's exactly the "anti aliasing" option?
system prefs --> display --> has no option like that.
