Display problem - help please!

Earlier today I pressed "command + option + control + *" by accident becasue I wanted to press "command + option + control + eject" to shut down my computer. As soon as I pressed the * instead of the eject button, I lost all the colour to my display. I tried to press the buttons again but the black and white just switched. Restarting and shutting down my computer didn't help either. If anyone could help, I would be grateful. Thank you!

Go to System Preferences/Universal Access/Seeing and check out the greyscale button setting.

Press control-option-apple-8 to swich.

Thanks so much!! The grayscale button had been pressed. I tried pressing control option apple 8 but that just switched the black and white. Thanks again!
