divx mac alpha 2 release

just so you guys know....

divx alpha 2 for mac was released yesterday. dont know if anyone posted already but i thought i'd let you guys know.

using the divx validator is still a pain, but they made it drag and drop, and now the codec is a quicktime codec and it played every .avi I have....so it seems to actually work pretty well now.
 
Great, but late. VLC already plays the files I want played. What we need here isn't an alpha player, it's a DivX encoder...something that doesn't require a doctor degree to use...
