My divx plugin requires windows media player 6.3 but only 7 seems to be on the internet..any solution for this?

That's your only option under Mac OS 9. You can play DivX in Mac OS X

Well, versiontracker.com should still have the alternate download link to get the 6.x version required by DivX Player. Just take the link to the 7.x version of WMP, and it should have it. Just make sure you are in the MacOS rather than the MacOS X section of versiontracker.com

Isn't rather odd 6.x for Mac has the needed codecs for DivX, but won't play it?
