Do you like the iPod?

I was thinking of getting one, and being a poor student, I need to figure out if it's worth it. What are your views and feelings on the iPod (I'd get the 5 GB model, it's all I can reasonably afford )

To be perfectly honest, I do not like my iPod... I LOVE it. Yes it is quite an expense.... but if you honestly just love music, you'll love iPod. It's spare space also acts as backup for documents and such. That's nice, too.

Fellow poor student here...

I have the iPod 5GB, and I love it.

It's great to be sitting on the train, going to class, and flip through 900+ plus songs. Makes the commute totally bearable.

I ditched my MiniDisc player once I got the iPod. Excellent MP3 player (and external HD)!
