Dock & app switching buggy after Leopard install

About a week after installing Leopard, things got buggy.

My dock "freezes" after a few minutes. I can launch apps, but currently open apps don't "glow" and won't appear if they aren't always visible in the dock.

When using CMD+tab to switch apps, Finder is the only open app showing.

Any suggestions?

Yes. Trash your dock preferences. ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.db, dock.plist and dockfixup.plist. If that doesn't quite do it, trash the Finder plist too.

Where can I find dockfixup.plist? I found the other files, but dockfixup.plist is not there.

How can I delete the files? When I try to empty trash, it says the files are currently in use.
