Is it possible for a website such a live web-cam site to install a malicious extension into Safari. I did allow a site to install an extension that was web-cam viewer. The certificate was an expired Thwart but I let it install anyway. More fool me obviously.
Is there anyway of un-installing extensions (flash, macro-media etc) is this kept in a folder somewhere? . . . indeed is there anything you can use to display installed components? i.e. through terminal or something? or is there a way of taking Safari back to its initial state?
I'm on 10.4.2 with everything up to date through software update?
