Does such a program exist?

I think it would be neat to have a program that, when you hide a window, instead of making it disappear completely just makes it very transparent and "unclickable".

Is there such a thing?

Wow, Afloat is a really awesome program. I can't get iTunes or Finder to go transparent, though...

Now all I need is an app that can lock a window from "clicks" or gaining focus. That in combination with making it "float" and be transparent would be quite swell!

This should be doable, judging from what I know of Cocoa. I'd send an email to the author of Afloat. Maybe he could add the feature.
