i have a g5 setup as an FTP server using PureFTPd on OSX 10.5.8
every time i open PureFTPd manager (to activate the ftp server) i have to retype the admin password. how can i get that to stop so i don't have to type it each time?
the box says it's asking for
system.admin.privilege
right now, if power fails, i come back to the server and it's waiting for me to type the password to start the FTP manager program. . . i'd like it to right back up after a power failure (or reboot for that matter) and not have to type the password.
can anyone help me?
thanks in advance,
