Download All Mail, Including Read Mail, with Mail.app

I'm testing out Mail.app (I currently use Entourage), and I have it set up to access my Gmail account via POP. It seems that it's only downloading new mail that I have not read before. I would like it to download all the mail in my Gmail inbox. Is this possible? How can I turn it on? Thanks!
 
IMAP protocol lets you download all your mail. POP protocol only allows for downloading new messages. Do you have the ability to access Gmail through IMAP?

Go to your settings in GMail and look for POP. There is an option to set this.
