downloading free songs

i downloaded free songs from the country weekly magazine and when i do it
says...open with itunes and it goes in my music library but it wont sync to my
iphone...how do i get it on my iphone ?.... i have a G5 version 10.4.11 my iphone is 9.0.2.....i hope someone can help me...i just cant understand why the songs go on my itunes library but it wont sync to my iphone.... thank you
 
Well Cleo, you need to create a folder on the left side of iTunes for your iPhone. Something like "Cleo's iPhone Music"

Drag whichever songs you want on the iPhone to this folder from your music folder. Don't worry, they will still remain in the original folder.

Now you can sync to your iPhone.
 
as i said i downloaded free songs from the weekly country magazine from the internet
and when i did i right clicked it and i had a few options....heres what they are...

Open with itunes
Open link in new window
Open link in new tab


download linked file
download linked file as...
add link to bookmark

copy link


thats what it said...now there in my itunes library but when i try to sync it to my
iphone or ipod nothing happens...thanks for any help...
