downloading mac file in .exe

[mac pro novice]

I'm new to mac, so dont know if i'm doing something silly. But i'm downloading apple software in limewire (iWork, iLife, iSkull), whenever i download the files they come out in .exe or .zip, and when i unzip the files they turn into .exe.

These are apple software but i can't open them in .exe, any help would be appreciated?

More than likely they're viruses masquerading as Apple software.

Not to mention downloading copyrighted/commercial Apple software is illegal, and, hence, against board rules. So's we can't be discussing that type of thing here. There are plenty of forums on the internet that dabble in the illegal transfer of copyrighted/commercial works -- this, unfortunately for you, is not one of them.
