Downloading Widgets

Curious to know if anyone is getting the same result as I am when downloading widget files. When I download a widget file from Apple.com, or wherever else, I ALWAYS have to download it twice. After it has downloaded the first time, I am asked if I want to open the file with an application inside. When I click yes, the file disappears. Then I download the file again, again answering yes to the application quesion, and Viola!, the file remains on my desktop. This happens every time.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I think that Safari automatically copies the widget to the right place. If you bring up dashboard after the first download you will see the widget as an option and you can use it.

Ah, cool. I will check that out. Would be nice if they had some sort of message though indicating that has taken place.
