drag folders into dock? won't work!

awesomer...
left-overs of my small PC mind must still be lingering in my head...
I'm doing something wrong, and CANNOT drag a folder into my Doc (like the Apps Folder, or the Sites folder, etc).

Is there a setting to allow this?
or is there a key I have to press while dragging it? (I've tried ctrl, option, and cmd)

any help/suggestions are quite appreciated!
thanks

dunno if this is the case, but u have to drag it to the right of the divider line, next to the trash icon

you know, I haven't done it to that side, that's (hopefully) the problem.

I'll hafta try that - thanks!

In the Left Side of the Dock is the Finder icon which you cannot remove and any other app you may have open at any given time or simply any apps icons in order for one-click-run function...

In the Right Side of the Dock is the Trash icon which you cannot remove and any other Folders, Aliases, Minimized windows from open apps, URLs from web sites, etc.

One very nice idea (especially if one is a Windows user) is to put in the right side of the Dock the Applications folder!

I for one, have my Applications folder, my Home folder and some other often accessed folders...

The Dock has MANY tricks and you should be better by searching at least here in www.macosx.com about them

:D ;)
