Dreamweaver and web browser

How do I set the preferences for my web browser in dreamweaver to empty all old files. Evertime I make a change- the cache doesn't empty. I try refreshing but still no luck. I also go into explorer preferences and empty cache, but still doesn't work. Any solutions? Thanks.
 
I find the changes happen quickest when you ftp your files through dreamweaver to your site (maybe you aren't updating your pages as you change them?) Then refresh the page in your browser after you have done this.

By the way, your web browser isn't in dreamweaver, it's a browser you specify in dreamweaver which the program then exports to view to.

Worse comes to worse and you may have to quit explorer and then restart the program.
 
Thanks, thought maybe my setings were off in explorer because it happens even after I refresh. I guess I'll just close out of the program.
