Driving me insane - what is port 398?

mach-o mach-o man
Obviously 398 is known as "kryptolan", but then... what is kryptolan?

Noticed a connection from a computer on my network, and I just have no idea what it is.

I'm hoping someone here knows what this is, because I will seriously go insane if I can't figure this out!

Thanks!

Well, at one time it was at port 65 - http://www.iana.org/assignments/protocol-numbers - but that seems to have changed recently - http://www.iana.org/assignments/port-numbers -

The closest I've been able to come to a solution is these two email addresses:
Code:
mptn 397/tcp Multi Protocol Trans. Net.
mptn 397/udp Multi Protocol Trans. Net.
# Soumitra Sarkar <sarkar@vnet.ibm.com>
kryptolan 398/tcp Kryptolan
kryptolan 398/udp Kryptolan
# Peter de Laval <pdl@sectra.se>
iso-tsap-c2 399/tcp ISO Transport Class 2 Non-Control over TCP
iso-tsap-c2 399/udp ISO Transport Class 2 Non-Control over UDP
I'm unsure as to which of the two email addresses is associated with your problem, but try writing to them and see what happens.
