I was wondering if anyone here has worked on a Indigo Press ? i would like to know the problems faced when using this press... also any tips.... as in sending maybe entire .psd files or something to that effect to minimise turnaround time.

any help in this department would be greatly appreciated :])

Looks like nobody uses them... has your co. bought one - there are six models to choose from, how much was it? Had a look around the web but couldn't find any prices.

Didnt reply sooner because my i havent had time to nettage

But thanks for the reply :). Our company has got 1 (hopefully gonna get another one soon)

Its runs Windows NT (used to run Linux i believe before HP brought out Indigo)

Its pretty dope for metallic substrates, well any substrate infact... to a certain micron thickness.

I just wanted to know ways to make the press work more effectively (spell-o)

anyway.. thanks bro.

The price tag is about $300 000 last time i checked... aimed for highend tv shoots and market research.

problems include trying to map Pantones to Process CMYK and the formidable OMWhite layer •grimace•

Anyone looking for an operator ? i get about $400 a month... which in some countries would be seen as slave labour (;

spot you later and thanks for the interest
