Dual Display Problem

I recently installed Panther on my dual 867 G4. My main display took the transition fine, but my second display went to greyscale with a set resolution of 1024x768 and 256 color display. The second display is not only greyscale, but very modeled. Anyone else having this problem? Solutions?

Check and see if there are any upgrade drives for your video card.
I have 2 monitors and Panther didn't do any harm to the second.

If it's an ATI card, the newest drivers will be in Panhter, installed for you if needed.
I have the ATI 8500 card.

If you're using an older ATi card with less than 16MB of video RAM, that could be the culprit. That also happens with older Voodoo cards. No fix as of yet.

Are you running both displays off of the same card? What kind of video card is it? Do you have a secondary video card that you're using for your second display?

I am running 2 video cards and the second video card is an older ATi card. After looking around a bit, I found a crt display adapter for the first video card for $35, so I order it. Thanks to all who responded.
