I have just done the OSX system move from my beloved G4 17" Powerbook to a Dual G5 2.5Ghz desktop. (keeping the powerbook....can't live without it) - But my question is this:
When I did the system move via Firewire Target Disk mode, all my apps transfered too...great!....BUT.... do I need to reload any (such as Photoshop) so that they will use the Dual Processor better? Meaning, do they have system detection in the install that changes the install to be optimized for a particular machine?
