Duality Catastrophe

I tried using the already buggy Duality 3 to restore the default Aqua theme. That was my first mistake. The system froze dead in its tracks, and can't boot the GUI now. So who wants to give me some idea how I can manually restore Aqua from single user mode?

I think the fastest way is to reinstall Mac OS X.
The isntaller should leave the system configutation (like users and their setting) as they are.

Well, I would if I had my 10.1 CD here with me at college. That's why I'm stuck with single user mode for now. Basically, I need to know which files to copy where in order to restore the hosed GUI resources.

Status report:

After mucking around in single user mode for about an hour, I found the .rsrc files buried inside some of the theme packages I had on my disk. After a few 'cp's, the system is now booting properly and using the SimpleX Orange theme. Now it's time to get a copy of AquaFix, and pray to God that it works okay...

The day is mine! Aquafix worked brilliantly, and all is well with the world again.

I just love UNIX. I'd like to see someone completely trash the GUI resources in Windows, and get the system back to a working state without the aid of any removable media or alternate boot partitions.
