Alas, the old G4 DP 1 GHz is dying as I type. I have 4 firewire drives not to mention 3 internal drives and many files. Do the new iMacs have firewire? If so, do they have both 400 and 800 ports? I am really not up on this. My drives are old and I think are FW 400. As for my internal drives, can anyone recommend an external case type drive that I could use with my internal drives - if the worst happens and I cannot get this mac back up? Thanks and sorry if I could find these by searching, but the old girl is running very loud now and has crashed 10 times tonight. First crashes ever in 8 years! How about that!
