Somewhere between having to install a new hard-drive and upgrading to iPhoto '11, I've ended up with 1000's of duplicate photos.
For instance, there is one copy in /Users/bbell/Library/Application\ Support/iLifeAssetManagement/assets/sub/014468c55944f2ff540c2f6df36280c6329f64d9c4 and another in /Users/bbell/Pictures/iPhoto\ Library/Masters/2012/03/30/20120330-090459. Both files have identical file names and content.
Can I remove one? If so, what's the proper way to do it? Or do I have to export all of my photos, use a dup checker to prune it down and reimport?
