LG gsa-4163b burner installed into my 933 quicksilver with 10.3.8. It works pretty good, but I am at firmware A101 and updates are out there that go to A103 and help increase burn speeds etc, but are windows only downloads.
Is there some way to update the firmware in this drive?? I've been around OS 9 for years but OS 10 is a bit new to me still....
Could a guy actually use virtual pc (assuming it sees the drive) to update the firmware??
Or if anyone has links to mac versions that would be good...

Edit, just an update to this drive...this thing rocks!! Burn DVD's in 7 minutes and DVD-RAM is very nice for data backups. It is so quiet you can't even hear it spinning but looks like I am SOL for upgrading firmware without putting it into a pc.
