DVD Drive

Hi, I have a Cube with a DVD drive and I can't get my DVDs to read no more. I'm still on x.0.4 but before this happened the dvd icon used to show up on the finder. Now all I get is a weird noise from the drive and my cube just spits it out!! What the hell is wrong here??? PLEASE, PLEASE help...anyone...

I didn't think that 10.0.4 had a DVD player...

anyhoo, did you install/upgrade any software? does the dvd drive still read regular cd-roms? usually these things don't just 'quit' working.

CD roms still work, and I have installed some softeware..

DVDs didn't work they just showed up in the finder. I hope 10.1 will fix this!
