I am unable to get my Mac to accept -R dvd discs.
Listed is the hardware in my Mac -
MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-846:
Firmware Revision: FB2U
Interconnect: ATAPI
Burn Support: Yes (Apple Shipping Drive)
Cache: 2048 KB
Reads DVD: Yes
CD-Write: -R, -RW
DVD-Write: -R, -RW, +R, +R DL, +RW
Write Strategies: CD-TAO, CD-SAO, DVD-DAO
Media: Insert media and refresh to show available burn speeds
I've burned to dvd +r with no issues. The slot drive accepts the dvd -r disc, tries to read and then ejects the disc.
What can I do? Thanks for the help.
