DVD Studio Pro DVD's burned not working

I am having a problem with DVD's that I burn of my project in DVD Studio Pro 4. I burn the DVD's using the build/format button. Everything is set as far as disc properties. The DVD will play in my DVD Player hooked up to my TV, and it plays in my DVD Player that I burned it to in my Mac G5. But it does not play in my external DVD Player (Lacie d2 DVD+/-RW Drive/Firewire). It also will not play in a windows computer DVD player using Windows XP Home Edition 2002 Service pack 2 using Windows Media Player 11.
