DVD Studio Pro

Have just bought DVD Studio Pro 4 (and upgraded to 4.02) and running on OSX 10.4.3. Having huge problems with the interface and whole programme seems bugged - if i import assets they seem to get jammed up , the interface doesn't allow me to change configurations and i can't open preferences...help!!! does anyone know whats wrong?
 
If the app isn't running right, go to your Home directory, then Library > Preferences and throw away the com.apple.dvdstudiopro.plist file out, then open it again.
