DVD zone

Hi, I have a problem with my iBook G4, I need to change the DVD zone, or make it region free, I only have one change left, please help me. I tried using VLC but nothing happened

VLC is your best bet for region free play, you may be able to reset the DVD Player's count, but that's not a permanent solution. Are you selecting "Open Disk..." from the menu?

You may be able to free DVD Player, but it's dangerous..

Well, it may not be compatible with your iBook's drive, for starters. Read the warnings on the page. VLC would be a better option..

Hi, I'm trying with VLC, I insert a DVD zone 1, my DVD player is set to zone 4, then I select "open disk", select the DVD, press play but nothing happened. Any ideas?
