DVD2One

Hi, I have been trying to burn a dvd and I can't seem to figure this out. I ripped the dvd in mac the ripper and i am trying to burn it with DVD2One, but everytime in DVD2One I am about to start the process it says: the destination disk does not have enough free space to store the contents of the output (4.33)GB. I have over 30Gb free on my HD which is more than enough. I have tried reducing the output size in DVD2one to 4444mb and then 4300mb and then 4200mb. Everytime I reduce it the value in the message changes to be less that the output size.

What shall I do? What am I doing wrong?

The DTOX message refers to the space available on your DVD.
It has nothing to do with your HD.

I suspect DTOX is seeing a purposefully spurious DVD size in
the MTR output. Sony/Disney DVDs are famous for that. Look at
the "movie only" option. Do you have a few titles showing that
are humongous? As in adding up to more gigabytes than will
even fit on a double-layer disc?

I know you're using DTOX 2 (1 doesn't burn), but what version of
MTR are you using? The free 2.6.6 can't handle the newer copy
protection schemes. Doesn't even recognize 'em.

MTR 3.0beta14e (donationware, join the ripdifferent.com forums,
go to the MTR forum, and find out how to get it) can give you two
options: (1) movie-only extract that strips the spurious info and is
ready for burning and (2) full-disc extraction that needs Dragon
Burn, $40 from www.ntius.com.

Hope this helps.
