DVI to ADC

I recently go a 17" apple LCD, actually i got two, so one is hooked up to my new G4, but the other i want to hook up to my girlfreinds PC, to save room on the desk. is there such a thing as a DVI female to VGA connector. To recap. i need to hook an apple LCD to a PC. if someone could tell me were i can buy one i would appriciate it.... i recently made the switch to mac, an so far i have seen overwealing support from mac users. if anyone knows how to slove my problem, please e-mail me.....

There are a couple of these available. Apple has one; you can get the details of their's at:

You can also get one from GEFEN. Theirs is at

I've actually got one of each of these connected to Apple Cinema Displays and they work great.

donsullivan, that is not what 3n3my01 is looking for.
I am in a similar situation. I have 2 17" Apple LCD displays. I have the Geforce4 mx graphics card that has a vga and DVI adapter on it. I am looking for a DVI - VGA adapter or DVI - ADC - VGA adapter so that I can have dual displays running. No help so far.

BTW: the DVI to VGA adapter from apple WILL NOT DO WHAT YOU NEED.

I am not entirely sure that you can do what you (and I) are wanting to do.
