Easy-photo Print

I just purchased a canon printer that came with easy-photo print, and when I open the easy photo it will not find any jpeg files unless I go into iphoto and go thru all the folders to find the photo I’m looking for. I called canon and was told to D/L the new updates easy photo, and driver, which I did and it still did not work. Then cannon had me D/L a photo off there web site to see if the easy photo will open it up, it did not, then I was told to drag the file onto the hard drive and bang the easy photo open it up so now cannon said there something wrong with the desktop. Can anyone tell me on what to do? Thanks
