editing text in .pdf-files

what is the easiest way to edit text in a .pdf-doc i just recieved? may i do this in Preview?

To edit a pdf you need AdobeAcrobat or a similar program. Preview or the free AcrobatReader do not allow editing of a pdf. There is a fiddly way around it. You can individually select text and images in your pdf using the tools in AcrobatReader or Preview and paste these into an AppleWorks document. Change the text to what you want, arrange the document to suit. When ready go to Print and in the print window select Save as PDF from the PDF menu (next to the ?-mark). You now have a fully Preview or Acrobat compatible pdf document
