editing the system wide dictionary

Is there a way to remove words that the dictionary accepts from it's list of accepted words? I have some typos that I wish it would catch but it doesn't. It likes the word geed. I don't. That's my common typo for good. I never ever ever ever want to use the word geed.

Dictionary editing anyone?
 
I want to know too. I accidently told it to remember a mis-spelled word once. I'm sure it'll come back to haunt me.
