Hi
I'm thinking of getting an eMac for my 7 year old niece for Christmas.
I've already got my sister to switch in the simplest way - I gave her my old PowerBook - however I know she's going to be concerned about the issue of her daughter learning one thing at school (Windoze, naturally... *yawn*) and having a Mac at home...
What are your thoughts? Is this a problem or am I right in thinking that a child's mind is so quick to learn new things that it could cope with two different systems?
If it's not a problem, has anyone got any experience of good, fun educational software that I could recommend for them?
I don't have any friends with children of this age who use Macs so can't ask around for advice!
Any suggestions very gratefully received...
Thanks
