Ok, since I upgraded my RAM I'm keen to improve on my emac even more ! So i'm thinking about upgrading to harddrive to a Seagate 120GB. I just have a few questions beforehand !
will any HD work in my emac? I think I remember a friend telling me that they'll only use ATA drives, is this right? The seagate I've found is an, 'Ultra ATA/ 100' would this one be ok? The actual model number is ST3120026A-RK
If all is well with my drive choice. Question 2 ! How hard is it installing a new harddrive in an emac? I've done it before on a PC and got help transfering stuff from the old drive using the 'piggy backing' method by using an IDE cable is this possible with macs?
Thanks for any advice
