I have an emac with mac os 10.3.4.
i want ot share it with my existing pc network.my pc network in a workgroup named 'SSB',but my emac in 'Workgroup'.so i want change my emac workgroup name 'workgroup'to 'SSB'.pls help me for the same
 
easy. Go to Applications >> Utilites >> Directory Access

in directory access use the SMB/CIFS config to change the name. You'll need admin to do this.

you can do it in a command line in /etc/smb.conf if you want to make special shares. you'll need to understand samba though if you do that. www.samba.org
